Xbox LIVE Gamertag Tutorial
This tutorial is simply to guide you on how to transfer the Xbox Live gamertag from your Xbox memory USB to the Xbox hard disk. After you successfully copy it to your Xbox hard disk, you will be able to use it. Such as using it for the offline mode in "Phantasy Star Online".
- Turn off Xbox
- Plug USB to USB adapter
- Connect USB adapter to Xbox
- Turn on Xbox
- Select memory at the dashboard menu
- Select the memory device
- Select Xbox Live Account
- PRESS RIGHT -> ON THE D-PAD TO BE ABLE TO COPY THE GAMERTAG (SEE PHOTO BELOW)
- Copy the gamertag to your Xbox hard disk
- Remove the USB and/or USB adapter from the Xbox
*This Xbox LIVE gamertag account is only to be used offline. The Xbox LIVE service was disabled on April 15th, 2010 for original Xbox. Even though Xbox LIVE has been disabled, Phantasy Star Online is an example of a game that has an offline mode that is only accessible with an Xbox LIVE gamertag.
This Xbox LIVE gamertag will only function for the original Xbox (not Xbox 360, Xbox One or Xbox Series X.)
